Congratulations to five of our pupils on the honour of winning scholarships to James St CBS – Janice Comerford, Shauna O’Neill, Josh Kenny, Emma Durojaiye and Zoe McGougan. They had the pleasure of meeting RTE presenter Miriam O’Callaghan at the award ceremony held in the CBS.
Our pupils had a lovely treat today with the arrival of an ice cream van to the school. Every pupil was treated to a ’99’ ice cream cone to enjoy in the fabulous sunshine…even the teachers got to indulge. The sound of the van’s jingle even made some of the boys and girls dance as they waited!!
Last Friday, the school and Early Focus project were delighted to accept the Mission Possible: School Achievement first place award for the promotion and support of positive mental health. Ms Flynn, Ms Hogan and Ms Curran, along with some of our pupils had the pleasure of accepting the award at a ceremony in St Patrick’s Hospital.
The school play extravaganza will be taking place on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th of April. Tickets for the play are €5 and will be available on a first come first served basis.
