On Wednesday the 9th of December we had visit from Dublin footballer Dean Rock and the Sam Maguire cup. Dean spoke to us about what it takes to become a Dublin footballer and what is involved in the training. Hopefully in a few years time a few of our past pupils will be coming back to our hall with the Sam Maguire cup!

Up the Dubs!!!!

We are very proud of one of our 6th Class pupils who recently received a special award in recognition of her achievements in Music and Dance. This will most certainly be the first of many!!!

Mr Cronin’s 6th Class have had a very busy year so far! We have had trips to the Botanic Gardens, Creativity in the Classroom, Tag Rugby and lots lots more. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to…

St. James’s P.S. Open Day will be held on Friday the 27th of February from 11.00 to 12.30. We would be delighted for you to come down and see all the excellent activities that go on in our school.

On the 30th of January Mr Cronin’s 5th Class took a trip to Trinity College. We learned about Carbon Monoxide poisoning as well as becoming C.S.I scientists for the afternoon!! We got to check for fingerprints and do tests to find out what different mystery substances were.

Everybody had a fantastic day and here are a few pictures to prove that we did!
