Please take a moment to look at the school calendar for the upcoming school year.
Congratulations to all the boys and girls who graduated from our school today. It is only goodbye for now as I am sure you will all come back to visit when things are back to normal! Enjoy your day and well done guys!!
At this time of the year we would usually be having Active Week so we have decided to run an Active at Home Week!!
The summer holidays are getting close and for that reason we have decided to run a whole school photography project.
We want you to take photographs of any signs of summer or summer activities you have been doing!
After much deliberation we have finally chosen our winners for the Art Competition. It was extremely difficult to choose a winner and there are a lot of other entries that did not make the top 3 that will also be receiving prizes in the post!
So without any further delay…….
Molly in 4th Class with “The Happiness Jar”
Molly said this about her work:
Spruha from 1st Class with her Activities Clock
Spruha has made a clock that shows what activities she does each day and also what the weather is.
Aimee (3rd Class), Abbie (Junior Infants) and their little sister Aoife
They have used their home recycling to create a play house for them to play in while they stay at home and stay safe.
A huge well done to the 3 winners. All the teachers were extremely impressed with everyone who entered.
For those who did not come in the top 3 don’t worry we are sending other prizes out in the post as a huge well done for taking part!!
Well done everyone!!
The theme for the art competition is:
Some ideas for inspiration….
We have lots of prizes to give out so we are very excited to see what you will come up with!
The closing date for the competition is Friday the 15th of May at 2.30pm.
Send a photo of your entry to ciaran.hscl@gmail.com. Please be sure to put your name and class on your entry!
