Congratulations to all the boys and girls who graduated from our school today. It is only goodbye for now as I am sure you will all come back to visit when things are back to normal! Enjoy your day and well done guys!!
At this time of the year we would usually be having Active Week so we have decided to run an Active at Home Week!!
Signs of Summer
The summer holidays are getting close and for that reason we have decided to run a whole school photography project.
We want you to take photographs of any signs of summer or summer activities you have been doing!
After much deliberation we have finally chosen our winners for the Art Competition. It was extremely difficult to choose a winner and there are a lot of other entries that did not make the top 3 that will also be receiving prizes in the post!
So without any further delay…….
- In 3rd place we have…….
Molly in 4th Class with “The Happiness Jar”
Molly said this about her work:
- In 2nd place we have………
Spruha from 1st Class with her Activities Clock
Spruha has made a clock that shows what activities she does each day and also what the weather is.
- And in 1st Place………..
Aimee (3rd Class), Abbie (Junior Infants) and their little sister Aoife
They have used their home recycling to create a play house for them to play in while they stay at home and stay safe.
A huge well done to the 3 winners. All the teachers were extremely impressed with everyone who entered.
For those who did not come in the top 3 don’t worry we are sending other prizes out in the post as a huge well done for taking part!!
Well done everyone!!
As everyone is trying to stay busy at home we have decided to run an Art Competition. Entries can be done on paper, on a computer, using items from your recycling, anything at all! So get creative!
As we all know things have been very different since the school has closed and lots of us are having to change how we do things so….
The theme for the art competition is:
Staying Strong While Staying Apart
Some ideas for inspiration….
- Show us how you have been spending time at home and keeping busy
- How you have been helping others
- How you have been showing kindness
- Any new activities or hobbies you have started
- A celebration of the many heroes we have helping us
We have lots of prizes to give out so we are very excited to see what you will come up with!
The closing date for the competition is Friday the 15th of May at 2.30pm.
Send a photo of your entry to email@example.com. Please be sure to put your name and class on your entry!
